Procurement Officer - e-tenders. A unique and a wonderful new opportunity for a procurement professional in a stand-alone role where you will be soley responsible for procuring products and services for a public sector/semi state organisation so you need to have solid experience with using e-tenders. Responsibilities. Reporting into finance you will take full responsibility for all procurement activities whilst complying and ensuring every procurement process is done within public/semi-state procurement guidelines. Be the primary contact between employees, the business, suppliers and all stakeholders. Be responsible for all aspects of e-tendering, creating and posting RFXs, the scoring and awarding of contracts in consultation with the management team. Be able to identify potential suppliers, screen and negotiate favourable terms. Prepare contracts and documents of agreement between the organisation and suppliers. Participate in the budget process to ensure projected planning is in line with business goals. Maintain the formal supplier assessment process, monitor their performance. Enjoy the opportunity to get involved in a range of projects. You will : - Have at least three years procurement experience in a similar role within a semi state or highly regulated setting. Have a business degree or equivalent and a procurement qualification is ideal. Have strong administration skills including MS Office and in particular Excel. Be a confident communicator both verbal and written. Have strong organisational skills; be able to multi-task and meet various deadlines. You will be able to commute to Kildare either by car or public transport. Hybrid working arrangement is possible for the successful candidate.
