Semi-state body located in Co Kildare are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager on a permanent basis in the Financial Shared Service Centre, this position will be hybrid working. The role of Accounts Payable & Receivable Manager reports into the Group Capital & Treasury Manager and will be responsible for the supervision of a team of up to 6 people. Key Responsibilities: Management of the Group's Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes ensuring timely payments and receipts while ensuring compliance with the Group's policies and regulatory requirements. Management of the Group's Bank and Cash reconciliation process. Provide support to the Group Capital & Treasury Manager in the implementation of Finance and Capital Projects. Lead KPI reporting with focus on continuous process improvement to the management of the Group's AP, AR and cash activities. Liaise with FSSC Business Partners and Racecourse Managers to ensure their working capital requirements are being managed effectively to the benefit of the Business Unit. Direct responsibility for procedural control, ensuring procedures are continually improving to provide efficiency's and new capabilities. Provide leadership and motivation to the team of direct reports while also ensuring the development of the team members. Skills and Experience: Degree Qualified in Finance, Accounting or equivalent. At least 5+ years' experience within a high-volume AP function in a Shared Services environment. Previous experience of AR and cash management is a distinct advantage. People management experience is desirable. Knowledge of Irish Tax legislative requirements. Experience using SUN accounting package would be an advantage but not essential. A highly motivated individual with experience of working to deadlines while leading a team & as part of a larger team.
