Semi-state body located in Co Kildare have a permanent opportunity available for a Financial Planning & Reporting Trainee Accountant in the Financial Shared Services Centre. The Financial Planning & Reporting Accounts Trainee reports into the Financial Planning & Reporting Manager. The role would suit a recent Business/Finance graduate with an interest pursuing a career in accounting. Full training & educational support available. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver full administration of the Inward Buyer Programme. * Process payroll for employees. * Assist with Payroll & Balance Sheet reconciliations. * Monitor & administer Group Fuel Cards. * Responsible for the management accounts, budgets & forecasts for Central Overheads. * Supporting FP&R team in management & statutory accounts process. * Reporting on voluntary disclosures as set out by Code of Practice for State Bodies. * Variance analysis. Skills and Experience: * A recent business/accountancy graduate (2.1 Degree or above) or an individual commencing professional training towards their ACCA or equivalent Accounting Qualification. * Strong Excel user. * Experience with Accounts and Payroll software. SUN, Megapay and Brightpay advantageous but not essential. * A highly motivated individual with experience of working to deadlines with strong organizational skills. * Ability to work well in a team and work on own initiative. * Strong attention to detail with high quality work output.
