Reporting into finance you will take full responsibility for all procurement activities whilst complying and ensuring every procurement process is done within semi-state procurement guidelines. Be the primary contact between employees, the business, suppliers and all stakeholders. Be responsible for all aspects of e-tendering, creating and posting RFXs, the scoring and awarding of contracts in consultation with the management team. Be able to identify potential suppliers, screen and negotiate favourable terms. Prepare contracts and documents of agreement between the organisation and suppliers. Participate in the budget process to ensure projected planning is in line with business goals. Maintain the formal supplier assessment process, monitor their performance. Enjoy the opportunity to get involved in a range of projects. You will : - Have min three years procurement experience in a similar role within a semi state or highly regulated setting. Have a business degree or equivalent and a procurement qualification is ideal. Strong administration skills including MS Office and in particular Excel. Be a confident communicator both verbal and written. Have strong organisational skills; be able to multi-task and meet various deadlines. You will be able to commute to Kildare every day either by car or public transport. Be happy to be in the office 5 days a week initially with hybrid offering once confident and settled.
