Continuous Improvement Specialist - Food industry. In this role you will be responsible for the development, implementation, co-ordination & reporting of sustainable, continuous improvement policies procedures across all areas of the business. Key Responsibilities: Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Responsible for implementing process & product improvements in all areas of the business. Ensure overall equipment effectiveness, yield control & process up-time. Support operation enablers utilising Lean Sigma initiatives. Implement & monitor Lean manufacturing initiatives across Plant. Develop & implement systems that optimise all phases of the production process. Project Manager who can bring a teamwork-based approach to the delivery of projects. Support the business investment strategy with research of latest equipment & systems technology. primary point of contact for CI Training partners. People: Work closely with frontline - Production Team & operators, maintenance & support functions. Reporting: Responsible for reporting on process performance, plans to maximise where applicable. Formally communicating / reporting same. Collect, record, & transcribe data; show results in reports. Responsible for maintaining project budgetary control. The implementation of new quality stds as required & supporting a culture of continuous quality & Hygiene improvement. Key Experience: Certification/work experience in Lean / Six Sigma is important. Project Mgt. experience is highly desirable. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & MS Projects). SAP desirable. Degree/Dip in engineering, manufacturing, or food ideal. Interpersonal Skills. Strong leadership, collaborative, & communication skills. Hands on, but strategic ability to implement Lean Manufacturing principles. Great problem solving for m echanical process type problems. Great communication skills inc presenting & can relate to all stakeholders. Be business numerate with financial skills. Certification or work experience in Lean / Six Sigma is vital for this role.
