This well-established, successful company provide equipment & services for industrial process engineering globally. They are setting up a new team to manage the global logistics operations from Ireland and hence the need for new talent. Freight, logistics & Shipping Specialist. You will: - Be the connection between all areas of the business -positively impacting upon the customer experience overall. Use your strong customer focus to resolve logistics service queries, complaints & lessons learned. Efficiently resolve queries relating to the global transportation network delivery service. Have cross-functional communication with internal customers - creating & maintaining strong working rel'ships with colleagues in the Production Centres, Sales Centres & Logistics. Build strong rel'ships with external parties who are key to the success of Customs & Trade Compliance & external logistics / IT Service Provider. Work as part of the team to coordinate & resolve disruptions (IT outage(s), capacity issues, etc.) Monitor & coordinate all physical & IT flows (inbound, outbound, returns. Provide Info. of delivery date (IOD) or Proof of delivery (POD), as required. Coordinate shipping documents, commercial invoices, AWB, customs, Safety Data sheets etc. as required. Experience & Skills Required. Degree in Business with ideally logistics, or freight forwarding experience. Fluent English, & German, Chinese, Polish, Russian, French are desirable. Good communication & problem-Solving skills. Passion for documentation (Work instructions, SOP's, SLA's. SAP-Knowledge (Module WM) or other Transport Mgt. Systems. Team spirit, ability to work under pressure. Training & certification of ADR, IMO & IATA preferred. Logistics or Customer Service experience and strong MS Office skills - Excel, Word & Power Point. Happy to be part of a new team in a well-established company. Work in a great global team; you will be in the office 5 days a week with 1 early (5 to 2pm) and one afternoon (2 - 10 pm) each week. These are shared with your team so that you can support your colleagues globally. Willingness to travel (project based) or for training. Be enthusiastic with good initiative a self-starter; strong communication skills.
