Procurement Tender Specialist - logistics & transport. A super new role with a well established company based in Kildare. Responsibilities in the Role will include: Run or support tenders for EU Hubs & for worldwide sales. Plan & develop tender documents including clarification of legal & business requirements & issues. Develop & write tender RFQ detailed but easy to read. Ensure tender distribution via electronic tendering tools & evaluation of data & follow-up deadlines. Calculate & benchmark transportation costs in tender & for spot requests. Given the RFP results, prepare recommendations for decision-making team. Communication with colleagues during tender life cycle. Regular monitoring of tender success & analysis of success factors. Handover & closeout with implementation Team & other stakeholders. Experience & Skills Required. Degree with a focus on logistics & Supply Chain. Experience in logistics tender management ideally. A high degree of self-direction, initiative, & commitment. Strong teamwork, communication & presentation skills, high level of problem-solving skills. Exp in tender documents development. Good knowledge of electronic tender tools, Excel, MS Word & Power Point. Experienced in negotiation management. Fluent spoken & written knowledge of English, (a 2nd language ie.
