Role Summary:  A vacancy has arisen for the role of a Maintenance Engineer at our client’s busy pharmaceutical site in Co. Kildare. This role demands flexibility and cross-functional liaison and co-operation. The Maintenance Engineer is required to lead the safe and efficient operation of equipment and systems in compliance with regulatory requirements.  Core Duties and Responsibilities:  Ensure strict adherence to site policies/procedures, cGMP and environmental, health and safety regulations. Facilitate TPM program. Execute responsibilities in line with Right First-Time principles. Drive complex defect elimination. Deviation Investigations and write up. Root Cause analysis for elimination of repeat performance issues /occurrences. Participate in decision making in consultation with relevant stakeholders. Participate in and drive Safety initiatives onsite. Lead / support Quality investigations as required.  Education & Qualifications Required: Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline with relevant pharmaceutical experience or suitable equivalence due to length of service and level of experience when working within the Pharmaceuticals / Food industry. Proficient in technical problem solving. Experience in solid dose / packaging desirable. Strong Ownership and accountability. Highly collaborative working. Knowledge of CMMS systems. Good interpersonal skills. Proven track record of high performance & delivering results.
