Due to continued growth and expansion, our client, a specialist distribution company in the energy world, is looking to fill the following role: Account Manager – On Site. This role would suit someone from a Stores Management or Buying background. Primary role function: ** On site primary point of contact between Supplier and the Customer. ** To manage the day to day requirements of the customer to ensure continuity of supply. ** To manage all Suppliers staff on site. ** To work closely with Customers Purchasing and Engineering teams to ensure all agreed customer metrics are being adhered to and exceeded where possible. After a comprehensive training and induction period the Account Manager would be responsible for : ** Comply with Customers Global and local policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements. ** Will execute current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and good documentation practices (GDP) in the performance of day to day activities. ** Organising regular Tier meetings with RISS staff and the customer. ** Devise, implement and manage supply chain projects that deliver added value services and cost benefits in conjunction with agreed SLA. ** Review operating procedures and processes on a regular basis to ensure, recommending any changes where necessary to improve performance. ** Actively seek opportunities for new business by developing onsite networks. ** Utilise the CUSTOMERS ERP system for onsite activities along with M3 to ensure customer requirements are being addressed. ** Liaise with Purchasing and Finance to ensure all Supplier related functions are running as agreed. ** Review all New Project parts, set up new spare parts with all the necessary information. ** Review all stocking profiles and identify procedures that can effectively be implemented to reduce any related cost. ** Bring External Suppliers on site to support existing products and to win new business.
