Project Automation Engineer.   PACIV, a global leader in industrial automation solutions with offices. in Ireland, the US and Puerto Rico, and serving the Life Sciences, F&B and. Utilities industries, is looking for a regular employment-based Senior. Automation Project Engineer with minimum 5+years’ experience for its Client. site in the Kildare/Dublin area in Ireland.  ROLE SUMMARY  A Senior Project Automation Engineer is required to join a project team. focusing on cyber security mitigation due to continued improvements on site. The successful candidates will be responsible. for automation system migrations to new Controller local area networks and private. cloud infrastructure.   The Engineer will be responsible for supporting all project tasks. related to the project, including requirements, design, configuration and. change control, commissioning, and validation. In addition, the engineer will work on operation technology to enforce. the production cyber security strategies by migration systems to new. infrastructure. This project is scheduled. over two years.     ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES    Work with site automation engineers to define technical tasks and coordinate system. migrations with site business teams.  Work with other engineers (e.g. Automation, Plant, Equipment, etc.) to determine the. project requirements.    Draf site change controls, and qualification test protocols/scripts.  Implement change by executing approved test protocol/scripts.  Prepare construction documentation including redlining drawings/system schematics.  Work with multiple projects team and activities while prioritizing work consistent. with business objectives.  Maintains detailed records and prepares communications and reports as needed.  Works closely with a wide range of support staff including production, warehouse. and packaging.  Interact professionally on a regular basis with vendors and the general public.  ·    Any other activities as directed by the Engineering Leads.                                                                                                       QUALIFICATIONS. Education:   Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Chemical, Mechanical, Computer Science) or equivalent education and/or industrial experience.   Strong Knowledge of Automation systems, including but not limited to PLCs, HMIs, DCS, SCADA, historians and Microsoft operating systems.  Strong knowledge of Computerized Systems validation and compliance regulations  and standards. Understanding.     of Industrial Data Networks, Instrumentation, and related systems  (hardware /software).    Experience on supervising contractors including but not limited to vendors, project. engineers, software developers, compliance specialists, etc.  Knowledge of SQL relational database systems and Network infrastructure including  design and testing.        Good verbal, writing and communication skills.      Knowledge of regulations applicable to the Pharmaceutical Industry.    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.   Developed analytical and problem-solving  abilities.   Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.     High degree of initiative and independent  judgment.     Ability to read, write and interpret reports and business correspondence for a diverse audience.       Must be self-motivated, proactive and solution   focused.       Maintains a high level of energy and a consistent   positive attitude.     Ability to work alongside other employees within  all levels of the organization.       English proficiency.  Experience:  · Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Project team  · Minimum 5+ years’ GMP in a regulated environment  · Practical. understanding of GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11.  · Experience in. pharmaceutical / biotech / medical device industry.  · Strong. experience in Process Automation Systems (Programming and ITC) including. Rockwell, Siemens and GE iFix.  · Strong Project. Management skills.  · Strong. communication and presentation skills.  · Familiarity. with computer infrastructure, servers, workstations and operating systems.      WORK SCHEDULE & RELATED REQUIREMENTS.   • Standard (M-F) daytime.   • Work requires on-site presence.  • Based on business need in exceptional cases. you may be required to work out of hours.  • Migration will be required during weekends or. during annual site shutdowns (December and August) you will be expected to work. longer hours to support scheduled manufacturing shutdown.     Other Requirements  · Location: Kildare/Dublin region, Ireland  · Must have a Valid EU Work Permit or Irish.
