HR Generalist. Sanderson is partnering with its leading high tech client to recruit an HR Generalist on a contract basis to start for an initial period of 6 months. Our client provides essential and niche products and services to their manufacturing clients and they compete within an industry that is growing exponentially. The HR Generalist will handle various mobility-related matters by supporting all aspects of upcoming international assignments and short-term business trips. As part of a wider HR team, the HR Generalist will contribute to and support the delivery of the HR strategy and they will support the management of all formal and informal employee relation matters in accordance with Irish employment legislation. The administration of payroll and benefits, and other ad hoc duties as required is also an essential part of the role. The successful candidate may be required to travel from time to time to support other regions, across Europe and worldwide. The candidate will need a 3rd Level Diploma or Degree in HR, business, or a related field. Candidates should have the following skills and experience required: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness. Willingness to operate as part of a team. Advance working knowledge of MS Access, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook. Working knowledge of Workday is desirable, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed. Excellent up to date knowledge of employment and immigration legislation. Operates with integrity, honesty and confidentiality. Exceptional attention to detail. Self-motivated & resilient with the capacity to work under pressure. The ability to analyse data to solve complex problems, anticipate outcomes & support decision-making. Strong organisational skills, including planning and time management. Ability to work under pressure using own initiative and judgement. Fluency in English is essential. A second European language or ability in Japanese is a benefit.
