Depot Manager - Kildare. Our client are seeking an experienced Depot Manager to be based in Kildare and also have responsibility for the Carlow Depot. We are seeking a person with great people management skills, flexible and willing to go the extra mile while effectively managing a team in a fast paced customer focused environment. Key Responsibilities include: People Management: Management of the depot team drivers, administrators and customer service representatives) including, recruitment, training and performance management. Administration, Processing & Account Management. Managing the office team to ensure month-end close off is completed on time to include bank reconciliations, stock management and account reconciliations. Responsible for achievement of a minimum of 90% pass grade on all process audits. Trucks & Drivers. Responsible for ensuring that all plant and trucks are in safe working order through implementation of preventative maintenance schedules. Achieve operational excellence and maximise synergies across the region through ongoing review of routing schedules and sensible management of staff working hours. Stocks. Manage all stock levels in the depots ensuring all procedures are followed. Finance & Costs. Manage all costs within the business to keep within budget and contribute towards achievement of monthly depot P&L's for all sales, margins and overheads. Ensuring all invoices/PO's are coded correctly. Safety & Security. Responsible for ensuring that staff can work in a safe and secure environment and that all business is conducted in a safe manner. Responsible for ensuring that all operational and H&S policies and procedures are followed. You must have people management experience and excellent Excel skills to be considered for this role.
