FRS Recruitment are currently accepting applications for the post of Business Development Manager on behalf of leading animal nutrition business. This is a full-time permanent role. My client is a key player in the in the agri-food supply chain from research to retailer. They are now expanding their business into the Agritech sector by providing an agricultural data and technology platform to farmers and retailers. These solutions provide valuable insights into productivity , Assurance , Innovation & Sustainability. You will work closely with the Product and Development teams to bring the customer voice to everything we build. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Duties to include. Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth. Experience in building a comprehensive digital marketing strategy from the ground up. Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products. Define and execute product marketing strategy. Obtains product market share by working with Technical Director to develop product sales strategies. Assesses product market data by engaging with customers. Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and engineering. Solid experience selling technology solutions to customers in the agriculture sector is extremely desirable. Thorough understanding of various online and offline marketing funnels. Exceptional communication skills and experience with CRM and Microsoft office. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Ideally, you have a minimum of 3 years' experience in business development. Travel to our core markets will be required. Candidate profile. Agri-Tech Sales Experience, B2B and B2C.
