Financial Controller - Motor Industry -

My client within the Motor Industry currently have a requirement for a qualified accountant with prior motor industry experience, will also consider someone from a retail background. RESPONSIBILITIES. •Reporting to the Managing Director and responsible for the day to day leadership, management and development of the finance team. •Ensure appropriate funding requirements are in place for the businesses. •Deliver timely high-quality monthly management accounts and all day to day finance duties. •Build and develop models to predict and track project financial performance including cash flow movement and profitability etc. •Ensure books of account are properly maintained. •Exercise strong control over collections and payments. •Deliver statutory reporting, audit and tax reporting requirements. •Approve weekly and monthly payroll. REQUIREMENTS. •Qualified accountant. •Strong technical accounting skills, and strong commercial acumen. •Must have finance experience within the motor or retail industry.
