Regulatory Affairs Advisor. Our Client provides support and advice to leading retailers to ensure that their products are compliant with food legislation and establish brand standards, focusing on working in partnership with clients and share knowledge and expertise which continually delivers to the highest standards. Core Purpose: The ideal candidate will be an expert within regulatoiry comopliance in the Food ssector and be responsible for providing expert regulatory advice to ensure all specifications, pack copies and artworks are legally compliant, market-aware and meet our client’s corporate labelling guidelines. Also involved in delivery of training of regulatory topics and client codes of practice as well as other compliance projects and supplier engagement. Core Responsibilities: Providing full support to the Regulatory Affairs Director. Providing regulatory advice to clients and Regulatory team. Communication with specification compliance technologists and manufacturers to ensure essential product information is gathered and that specifications and artwork comply with the legislation as well as our clients’ corporate labelling policies. Communication with client partners to develop relationships. Delivery of food regulatory and corporate labelling codes of practice training courses. Keeping up to date with legal requirements and labelling policies, and dissemination within business. Provide accurate and timely regulatory advice to client base. Ensure all chargeable work carried out is recorded for appropriate invoicing. Support of internal specifications and pack copy teams through delivering training and responding to regulatory and client corporate labelling standards queries. Building an internal library of food legislation/guidance. Staying abreast of legislation changes and industry guidance in order to advise clients of any potential impact on their products. Experience & Qualkifications: Food Science or similar degree, or a Food Law or other relevant qualification. Excellent knowledge of EU and Irish food legislation. Experience of a regulatory role within the food industry. Ability to interpret complex food legislation. Understanding of the food retail and food manufacturing environment.
