Director of Service. Kildare County Council provides a wide range of local authority services including Housing, Planning, Development, Environmental, Roads and Transport, Emergency and Leisure and Community services. A vacancy now exists in Kildare County Council for an experienced senior manager to play a leadership role as a Director of Service. Reporting to the Chief Executive, s/he will be responsible for policy implementation, service delivery and change management. The successful candidate will have: • A career record that demonstrates the necessary senior level leadership and. management skills to manage, develop and motivate a large multidisciplinary team; • Experience of managing change in a complex and dynamic environment; • A significant record of achievement of results; • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
