Position: Clinical Nurse Manager. Here at FRS we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Kildare, for a Clinical Nurse Manager in a nursing-home situated in the beautiful countryside. The client prides themselves on providing person centred care which is driven by the wishes and desires of residents but also meeting individual needs. The ideal candidate will convey a strong person-centred approach, have an interest in Dementia care with related qualifications being a superior advantage. Candidate's can come from a Senior Nurse position or a CNM position, where they have experience managing other nurses. Requirements: RGN with 4-5 years' experience ideally in a nursing home or community hospital setting. CNM with 1-2 years' experience, conveying strong management abilities. Senior Nurses will also be considered. Strong leadership skills, promoting staff development and training and dedication to Elderly Care. HIQA knowledge essential. Must have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities and duties: Providing the best nursing care possible to elderly service users. Liaising with families, GPs and other auxiliary agents. Ensuring all relevant, current legislation is adhered to. A team player, promoting a positive work environment with excellent colleague relations and an ability to create homely, comforting conditions for residents. Encourage and assist staff training and development. Effective communication skills and a strong sociable personality. Meet and exceed HIQA standards and regulations.
