We are seeking an experienced and talented Corporate Sales Manager for a well-established hotel in Kildare. Reporting to the Director of sales & marketing, the corporate sales manager is responsible for business generation by Identifying opportunities locally, nationally and internationally and build relationships with key individuals and organisations. You will manage existing accounts and develop new accounts from corporate markets for bedroom, meeting and event business for the Hotel. Participate in all sales activities including sales calls, corporate entertaining, social events and promotions. To have responsibility for the development of Corporate Accounts, ensuring regular personal contact, maintaining databases, periodic reviewing and renegotiations of rates. Establishing effective and efficient methods of feedback from all corporate clients to include one-off customer and repeat business. Solicit, confirm and negotiate transient accounts including negotiating rates and confirming contracts that ensure targeted budget achievement. Proactively prospecting new accounts for the property, and following sales process through to convert into 'active' accounts. Create a targeted RFP hit list in advance of RFP season for multi-user account development. Manage annual RFP process for each individual targeted account including account and market intelligence and pricing recommendations to maximize hotel profitability and secure travel program inclusion. Regular travel will be required. Key attributes required include: Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Team player. Have great relationship building skills.
