As a Sales Representative, you will be tasked with generating hardwood, softwood and sheet material sales for Morgans Timber, one of the Grafton Group brands. Specifically, you will manage customer relationships and construction-related activity, oversee key customer accounts and deliver on targets as directed by the Sales Manager. You’ll engage with key strategic customers and joinery manufacturers to build strong, long-term relationships, promote Grafton and Morgans building material products and services and undertake regular visits to customer sites. Additionally, you will: - Upsell additional brands within Grafton Merchanting. - Prepare quotations for customers. - Prepare account plans to meet sales targets and maintain or develop relationships. Interested? To be considered, you’ll need: - At least two years’ proven hardwood and/or softwood and sheet material sales experience. - Excellent knowledge of hardwoods and/or softwoods and sheet materials. - Proven experience of dealing with joinery manufacturers and specifiers. Customer and results-focused, as a Sales Representative, you will have great communication and listening skills and an open mindset. Excellent team-working abilities are also key. A third level qualification in construction or a business-related discipline would be highly beneficial to your application.
