Senior Executive Architect. An opportunity currently exists in Kildare County Council for Senior Executive Architect. The successful candidate will work as part of the Architectural Services and Housing Capital teams delivering architectural services to the Local Authority and provide advice and leadership to the teams. Reporting to a Director of Service, Senior Architect or other such designated person, s/he will deliver a programme of architectural work and provide advice to Kildare County Council on all architectural matters. The successful candidate will: • Hold a professional qualification in Architecture that is prescribed under the Building Control Act 2007, or a qualification in Architecture that is equivalent to a qualification so prescribed; • Be eligible for registration as an Architect under the Building Control Act 2007 without requiring further assessment (any appointment will be subject to registration under the Act); • Have at least five years satisfactory experience of architectural work after registration including, for a period of not less than three years, satisfactory experience of architectural work in a responsible capacity including supervision of building work.
