A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Sales and Marketing Executive at this prestigious 4 Star Hotel in Kildare. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will have responsibility for co-ordinating and managing the entire sales and marketing function within the business. Based in Kildare, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a Sales and Marketing plan in order to meet our commercial targets. This is a pro-active role involving key account management with a focus on the MICE, Corporate and Special Events market segment. Key Duties Include: Create and implement a sales and marketing plan and achieve agreed commercial targets. Manage all sales and marketing activities for the property. Support the Director of Sales on business development activities as required. Networking, building and maintaining relationships with a view to securing new business. Leading, managing and developing a successful and experienced sales team to achieve the business goals for this prestigious hotel. Provide regular financial and activity based sales reports to the General Manager, Directors and the Leadership Team. Build and maintain excellent working relationships with the key stakeholders. Promote a professional image of the hotel at all times both internally and externally. The Ideal Candidate Should Have: A minimum of 3 years' experience within the tourism / hospitality industry. Degree level qualification in business / hospitality related discipline would be a distinct advantage. Demonstrated ability to plan, create, execute and measure innovative online, off line and public relations strategies to deliver business targets. Commercially aware, keyed into changes within the industry with a proven ability to develop new business, increase revenue and maximise yield performance. Ability to share passion for our with our clients, to communicate a vision and build meaningful, long term relationships. Flexibility to travel as required. A passion for food, excellence in customer service and is ready to challenge in the interest of delivering improvements across all areas of our business. Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at all levels. Excellent planning and organisational skills with a high attention to detail. Competent in developing budgets, delivering accurate monthly sales forecasts and managing costs. This is a full time permanent position that offers genuine opportunities for growth & development.
