Assistant Restaurant Manager, Luxury 5* Property - Leinster. Our client, a fabulous 5* Property in Leinster has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience as a F&B Supervisory position, within a 4*/5* busy hotel, or high volume, quality / fine dining restaurant. The Role. To ensure the smooth running of the Food & Beverage Department within the Hotel (Fine Dining Restaurant, Room Service, Afternoon Tea Lounges, Private Dinners & Functions. To be responsible for the supervision and development of all restaurant personnel. Attend the Operations Meetings as well as all internal and external meetings in the absence of the Food Services Manager. Checking food and service standards are at the required standard at all times. Monitor guest and staff feedback. To ensure that all nominated standards of service are adhered to and delivered. Mentor, train and conduct corrective training with new and existing staff in a timely fashion and on a regular basis. Maintain the Time and Attendance System and ensure all reports are sent to the HR department. Experience. Experience in a similar role in a 5 star property is advantageous. The ability to work in a busy and fast paced environment. Fluency in spoken and written english. Excellent people management skills and ability to motivate the team. Knowledge of wine and restaurant service. Excellent attention to detail and standards.
