A global giant in the semiconductor industry is currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team at their dynamic and fast-paced Manufacturing facility in Kildare. You will work within a collaborative and cross-functional team working on high precision state of the art machinery. The Role: Reporting directly to the Site Co-Ordinator, the key focus of your role will be to: Successfully manage system installations and set-ups. Provide technical expertise on the repair and troubleshooting of production machinery and perform a comprehensive analysis of system performance. You will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and will utilise software tools and analytical methods to achieve results efficiently and on time. Responsibilities : Install systems in customer facilities, executing standard install tests, meeting overall installation schedule and ensuring that system performance meets the specification. Execute complex system repairs in a quality manner and timely fashion. Perform maintenance support to customers to ensure that equipment performance meets the required specification. Utilise e-diagnostics or software tools for analysis and reporting. The Person: As the successful candidate in this role, you will possess the following: Degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical/Mechtronics/Physics preferred. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Experience in drafting clear and concise technical writing.
