Reception/Reservations Manager required for fabulous Hotel in Kildare, just outside of Dublin. I am seeking an experienced Reservations Manager / Reception Manager to run the reservations office on a day to day basis with the aim of maximising revenue through yield management, driving occupancy, and average rate and market share performance. The role will also include competitor rate analysis to help determine the Hotels position within the market and to make recommendations and necessary rates adjustments where required. You need to have strong experience with Group Bookings and Reservations as well as room allocations. The following are the main responsibilities of the role: Overall responsibility for the Front Desk, Reservations and Back Office Administration. Manage the Front Office and Night Porter teams. Administer the front office system, hotel website, 3rd party websites (rates, availability etc.) and social media presence. Drive sales and meet agreed targets. Develop the room and rate strategy to maximum revenue. Liaise with Housekeeping and other support departments. Manage the hotel's event schedule. Responsible for cash handling and debtor management. Act as a Duty Manager when required. The following are the main requirements of the role: A minimum of 3 years experience at a supervisor or manager level in a similar role in the hotel industry. A hotel qualification is preferred. Strong revenue management experience required. Excellent computer and digital marketing skills. Excellent sales and customer service skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to lead a team. Flexible to assist in other areas of the hotel when required. Fluent in the English language (both written and spoken.
