Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Processing of sales invoices, cash receipts and lodgements. Processing of web based ticketing system sales. Maintain bank records, including recording of payments and receipts and bank reconciliations. Balance sheet reconciliations. Encourage prompt debt settlement by following up on the aged debtors. Production of KPIs. Ad-hoc duties assigned by your line manager. Work closely with all members of the Finance Team to assist in adding value to the role, including support to the enhancement of the various reporting systems including ticketing. Liaise daily with various business units ensuring there is an excellent working relationship between Finance and the racecourses. Carry out specific financial assignments and projects as required. Key Skill Sets. IATI or part qualified Accountant. Strong technical accounting experience. Well organised with ability to work on own initiative and make decisions. Strong communicator both written and verbal. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office primarily excel is required.
