IAASA is the independent body in Ireland whose principal functions include supervising the Prescribed Accountancy Bodies’ regulation and monitoring of their members, the inspection and promotion of improvements in the quality of auditing of Public Interest Entities, and examining certain listed entities’ statutory financial reporting for compliance with relevant reporting frameworks. IAASA seeks to expand its staff complement through the recruitment of a Senior Financial Reporting Manager. The Senior Financial Reporting Manager’s principal responsibilities will include managing and coordinating a range of duties associated with the Authority’s Financial Reporting Supervision function. The successful candidate will be a member of an Irish Recognised Accountancy Body with post qualification experience at a suitably senior level in areas of relevance to the role (e.g. audit, financial reporting or in an associated enforcement environment), and will possess extensive knowledge of financial reporting standards. The salary on commencement for each of these positions is €84,973, rising to €104,507 on an incremental scale.
