IAASA is the independent body in Ireland whose principal functions include supervising the Prescribed Accountancy Bodies’ regulation and monitoring of their members, the inspection and promotion of improvements in the quality of auditing of Public Interest Entities, and examining certain listed entities’ statutory financial reporting for compliance with relevant reporting frameworks. IAASA seeks to expand its staff complement through the recruitment of a Senior Supervision Manager. The Senior Supervision Manager will have responsibility for delivery of a diverse range of projects and assignments relating to the oversight of the audit and accounting profession in Ireland. S/he will have a qualification in a relevant discipline, experience at a senior level in a regulatory/audit environment or other area of relevance to IAASA’s remit, and have a keen awareness of IAASA’s objectives and the environment within which it operates. The salary on commencement for each of these positions is €84,973, rising to €104,507 on an incremental scale.
