As the Financial Systems Analyst, you will be tasked with supporting the development of GOAL’s policies, procedures, processes and systems from a technical and financial standpoint. Working to implement financial policies and procedures in all field offices, you will liaise with Roving Financial Co-ordinators (RFCs) and support the Finance Director in prioritising specific responsibilities. You’ll take ownership of the implementation and support of processes and procedures relating to Sage 200 including upgrade, testing and remote support in collaboration with IT. You will also provide technical support and training to Field Financial Controllers, the roving technical team and headquarters staff regarding finance policies and procedures. Additionally, you will: - Support the development of budgets, Donor finance requirements, cashflow, forecasting and reporting. - Develop, implement and standardise financial policies and procedures. - Review key financial processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Co-ordinate and support other divisions from a financial perspective. Interested? If so, you will need: - An accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent. - Experience of co-ordinating across teams and regions. - Project management skills, ideally including hands-on experience of systems implementation. Analytical, organised and communicative, as the Financial Systems Analyst, you will also need the ability to work on your own initiative, multitask, plan effectively and prioritise your workload. A high level of initiative, motivation, commitment and professionalism will also be key. Experience with Sage 200, Power BI, SharePoint, Flow and/or Micropay would be beneficial to your application. Development sector experience and/or a genuine interest in the humanitarian and non-commercial sector would also be an advantage, as would the willingness to travel.
