IT Trainer / Application Configuration Specialist – Higher Education Software. Bray, Co. Wicklow (with travel to customer sites throughout Ireland and the UK. €Excellent DOE. They are now looking for an IT Trainer / Application Configuration Specialist to join their hard-working team. As an IT Trainer / Application Configuration Specialist, you’ll deliver product training to universities to ensure they get the most out of our client’s software applications. In this key role, you’ll configure and customise applications in-line with customers’ needs. Once you’ve done this, you’ll create and deliver onsite training and materials to ensure that software is successfully implemented and utilised. You’ll provide user support and maintain the configuration management library, as well as a range of training materials and documentation. To be considered, you will need at least four years’ experience in the following: - Developing and delivering training in a business setting. - Using tools such as MS PowerPoint, Excel and Visio. - Using training development tools, such as Captivate or Dreamweaver. The following is also essential: - Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) products, business processes and workflow automation/CRM applications. - A degree level qualification in communications or a related field. Organised and proactive, as an IT Trainer / Application Configuration Specialist, you’ll have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. You’ll also have an analytical approach to problem-solving and great multi-tasking abilities.
