Operations Supervisor required for a busy manufacturing environment in Kildare area. The suitable candidate for this role will have: A minimum of 3 years experience in a high/low volume manufacturing environment demonstrating leadership qualities. High administrative, organising & communication skills. The ability to read and understand financial statements. Leadership skills / team building & motivation skills. Self-motivation with drive, enthusiasm and commitment. Ability to work well under pressure. Budget Control experience. excellent problem solving skills and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with supply chain management and shop floor management systems. ability to manage multiple projects. Strong awareness of safety procedures. Strong Computer proficiency, MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Experience ERP Systemsare essential. MS Project & Powerpoint proficiency is desirable. Certificate / Diploma in Manufacturing Related Discipline is essential, or in Manufacturing related discipline desirable. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Motivation of the team within a manufacturing environment. Achieving on-time delivery and quality targets. Managing the team caring for employee health and safety. Providing required metrics on productivity and performance of the team. Ensuring Quality Control and efficiency of team output. Managing attendance and timekeeping of the team. Promoting team work and effective communication. Project work as required. Controlling cost in line with budget requirements. Direct management of Team, involving performance reviews and indirect management of all staff in the department. Ensuring that all team responsibilities are managed in an accurate, comprehensive, timely and controlled manner. Responsible for ensuring the appropriate staffing and resources of the department. Ensuring motivation, leadership and team-building. Permanent / Full-time position with immediate start. Shift: 8am to 4.30pm.
