The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following: The R2R Fixed Asset Analyst is responsible for the administrative tasks of recording Tangible and Intangible Assets within the Group and ensuring that they comply with company policy, meet statutory and legal reporting requirements. Ensure all Tangible and Intangible Fixed Asset transactions of the Group are processed accurately in a timely manner and in compliance with Company Policy and Procedures. Review all Capital Projects with the Finance Business Partner as part of the month end to ensure that all costs are interfaced into the specific project from AP, Inventory, Payroll and GL and are relevant to the project and are closed off for updating into Oracle Fixed Assets when all outstanding commitments have been accounted. Perform Fixed Asset Reconciliations between the sub ledgers and the GL on a monthly basis and proactively resolve all reconciling items. Action all Maintenance requests to Fixed Asset registers including, amendments arising from physical verification checks, Disposals and Retirements, are carried out in a timely manner and are approved by the Team Lead to ensure that they are recorded correctly. Run Depreciation program for review of depreciation charges and obtain sign off by the Fixed Asset Team Lead before final processing of the depreciation to the General Ledger and period close for Fixed Assets. Liaise with GL Analyst to ensure completion of end to end Depreciation calculation. Track and report on relevant Metrics and KPI's in relation to the administration of the Fixed Asset process. Participate in the FSS and other projects as is required on an ad-hoc basis. Assist in Internal/External Audit activities. Perform ad-hoc requests for Management in relation to the Administration of the Fixed Asset Process. Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team's objectives. The Person: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge and attributes: Preferably has an Honours Degree (NFQ Level 8) in Business Studies or other relevant discipline or is committed to working towards achievement of same. Accounting Technician or qualified by experience; 3 years’ Fixed Assets experience; Deep understanding of Fixed Asset Accounting and the Fixed Asset Policy.
