Production Planner. Bray, Co. Wicklow. €Excellent DOE. Founded in 1992, our client is a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of high quality diagnostic test kits. They are now looking for a Production Planner to join their team in Bray. This is an outstanding opportunity for a production planner, scheduler or purchasing professional with a background in MRP or ERP to take on a fresh challenge with a market leader. You will be tasked with the key role of ensuring that production levels are maintained and materials are available to achieve this. As a Production Planner, you will be tasked with producing and monitoring production schedules that are based around the finite capacity and time limitations. Working closely with teams from across the business, you will liaise with vendor schedulers as well as Purchasing, Customer Service, Production, Warehousing, Engineering, QA, QC and Tech Support teams. Specifically, your role will involve ensuring revenue and stock targets are achieved, scheduling and maintaining daily, weekly and monthly production planning activities using the master Production Schedule. Your will also be involved in: - Updating and issuing weekly and monthly inventory, back order, WIP and shop packet KPI reports. - Planning, scheduling, controlling and chasing production requirements for customer orders. - Ensuring the availability for raw materials. - Communicating with cross-functional teams through planning meetings. - Managing the inventory at intermediate and ‘finished goods’ level. Interested? If so, you will need: - At least two years’ experience in planning, scheduling or purchasing. - Knowledge and experience of day-to-day practices within an ERP and/or MRP environment. - A technical third level qualification, ideally in supply chain, production planning or purchasing. Organised and attentive to detail, as a Production Planner, you will need to be team-focused, self-motivated and able to effectively prioritise.
