We currently have a Purchasing Manager/Cost Controller job for a luxury Hotel in Kildare. We are looking for a experienced Purchasing Manager who will effectively control costs incured by the resort. Job Title: Purchasing Manager. Location: Kildare. Salary: €45,000. Facility: Hotel. Benefits: Competitive Salary. Car Parking. Uniform. Meals on Duty. Staff Discounts. About the Job: Implement sound purchasing policies, systems and procedures in accordance with Company standards. Monitor vendors for quality, service and price through standard purchasing specifications. Obtain competitive quotations for hotel requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased. Liaison with the Assistant Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Coordinator, Receiving Agent, Stores Supervisor and F&B Cost Controller. Maintains all documents, files and listings up-to-date and performs his duties in the most efficient manner. Job Requirements: 2 years Previous experience in Purchasing/Cost Control role for a 4* or 5* star hotel essential. Degree in business studies or purchasing and supply. Good knowledge of MS office suite and Materials management software. This is an excellent opportunity for the right Purchasing Manager.
