Location. This role is based in Kildare. Job Role. The successful candidate will work as a Mechanical Technician and be responsible for both decommissioning and commissioning of facilities equipment on both utility and process systems. These systems include, but are not limited to, AHU’s, Chillers, Boilers, Compressed Air, Scrubbed Exhausts, General Exhaust Water Treatment and Industrial Waste Systems. Y our Responsibilities: Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support both decommissioning and commissioning activities. Generation and execution of documentation to support decommissioning activities on live systems in line with site procedures. Generation and execution of Commissioning documentation such as OAT’s & FAT’s (Operational & Functional acceptance tests. Maintain all documentation in an organised and controlled manner, in compliance with client procedures. Work with operations and engineering teams to develop testing protocols and start-up procedures. Have excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills, which above all, pose no risk to health and secondly provide no potential risk to any systems. Demonstrate ownership and show initiative to resolve issues in a timely manner in a high paced, schedule driven environment. Requirements: The successful candidate will have time served mechanical trades experience or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering. Ideally at least 4 years industry experience. Must have a working knowledge of industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems & equipment and be knowledgeable in the operation of such systems. An ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Literacy in Computer Operating Systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc. Possess excellent Communication / Documentation and Interpersonal skills.
