A pillar of the Irish market for 60 years, they work with world-leading brands, including DMG MORI and Trumpf and are now seeking an Engineering Sales Representative to join their Dublin team. As an Engineering Sales Representative, you will be tasked with promoting the metal cutting division and developing sales of our client’s metal cutting equipment. Seeking to achieve and exceed set sales targets, in this new position, created through company growth, you will be involved preparing and implementing sales plans for specific regions across Ireland. You will seek out sales leads and prospects, get involved in turnkey projects, machinery demonstrations and other customer-related activities and complete other pre-sales activities to enable great sales results. Additionally, your role will involve: - Working with Product Managers, Service Managers and Company Directors to address customer requirements and issues. - Developing in-depth knowledge of the product portfolio and machine tool industry. - Passing enquiries for other products onto relevant colleagues. - Visiting customers and submitting reports on the results. So, is this the role for you? If so, you will need: - Capital sales experience. - A background in toolmaking and/or use of CNC machine tool equipment. - Mechanical aptitude. - An engineering qualification, preferably to degree level.
