Our client in Kildare are currently looking to recruit a Bus Refurbishment Supervisor for their site. Job Purpose: To provide excellent customer service and deliver high quality maintenance and repairs to PSV’s as part of the Refurbishment Project. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Allocate jobs to project team members matching relevant skill sets and indicating the time allowed to complete the work. Monitor job progress and the quality of work output of project team members. Maintain high levels of labour utilisation and efficiency and ensure that all staff are clocked onto the vehicle on which they are working. Ensure project team members work within agreed time lines as per the contract with our customer. Support and troubleshoot operatives with technical repair queries. Carry out road testing and quality control inspections as required. Manage and approve all job related paperwork in line with company standards. Ensure high quality and frequency of communication with the Bus Key Accounts Manager and Service Manager regarding the project and any concerns. Ensure approval has been sought from the Customer before additional work outside of the allocated project begins. Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times, setting the standard for technicians, coach builders / body specialists and general operatives. Adhere to Company policies & correct working procedures, reporting any errors, faulty equipment, safety issues, accidents, incidents or near misses promptly to the H&S Officer &/or Management. Monitor performance and work standards of technicians, body specialists & general operatives. Comply with and enforce Company Policies. Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the workshop. Identify training requirements for the project team. Participate in training and development programmes as required by the Company. Undertake any other duties or activities as required. Skills Profile: 5 years post apprenticeship experience required. HGV/PSV Technical qualification / experience. Computer literate. Excellent communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work accurately and efficiently under challenging time constraints. PSV licence an advantage.
